James Webb is a Chartered Electrical Engineer with over 17 years of railway electrification experience in d.c. and a.c. systems globally.
This experience has been gained working within the UK rail industry whilst with Network Rail, and internationally with the engineering design consultancy Halcrow CH2MHILL, the electrification systems supplier Siemens, and as an independent design & consulting engineer over the last 5 years. James has held senior engineering roles on a number of major railway projects worldwide, most recently with the Adelaide 25kV Electrification Project, in Kuala Lumpur on the Ampang Line 750V d.c. third rail extension, and as a lead review engineer for the Level Crossing Removal Project for MTM (Metro Trains Melbourne).
