Our prestigious consulting practice client is seeking candidates with significant LNG experience for a Project Consultant role. The candidate will support the firm’s advisory and dispute resolution work in activities related to the design, fabrication, construction, commissioning, startup, and operations of LNG, natural gas processing, and/or regasification facilities. The preferred candidate has a comprehensive understanding of LNG operational requirements and experience applying those requirements during the execution of large LNG facility projects ($500 million+). Additionally, the candidate should possess the requisite knowledge of the LNG supply chain and infrastructure, including pipelines, power generation, gas pretreating, liquefaction, storage, marine jetty and cargo loading facilities, and regasification. The candidate will have held senior technical and/or project management positions, with responsibility for the delivery of key Project metrics.
Preferred Experience
· Demonstrated technical and project management experience in major LNG facility projects, with an EPC contractor and/or Owner company.
· Application of LNG operational requirements to the design, construction, commissioning, and start-up of LNG projects.
· Experience analysing capital cost and schedule on LNG Industry projects and the resulting impact of overruns on product delivery commitments.
· Construction, commissioning, and start-up of an LNG liquefaction and/or regasification facility.
Qualifications
· A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in chemical or mechanical engineering. Other engineering degrees will be considered with consummate experience.
· A minimum of 20 years in the LNG Industry with at least five years in senior level leadership roles. Corporate level leadership is a plus.
· MBA, Professional Engineer license (or equivalent) is a plus.
· The ability to explain complex technical matters in simple-to-understand terms to non-technical clients.
