INTRODUCTION TO THE ROLE
DuPont Advanced Cleans & Slurry Technology (ACST) within Electronics & Industrial Business has a Product Development (Scale Up) Engineer opening in Cheonan, Korea. The Product Development Engineer is responsible for developing raw material, product and Process scale up. You will design and improve continuously the overall process of intermediate and product for sustainable growth.
Develop overall product process from laboratory scale to high volume manufacturing scale
Lead cross-functional teams in problem solving, development of improvement plans and root cause analysis
Generate technical data according to the requirement
Conduct lab experiments, data analysis and documentation on findings
Utilize DOE (design of experiments) and FMEA (failure mode and effect analysis) tools to approach to the solution
Engage with customer to understand market trend and prioritize quality improvement item
Actively participate in EH&S (environment, health and safety) programs to ensure high standard of safety.
Your Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Material science
A thorough understanding organic/inorganic/polymer chemistry and chemical engineering and metal reduction using ion exchange resin
Ability to lead deep technical discussions and market/customer discussions
Ability to work independently and manage time across multiple projects with varying deadlines and commitment
Good communication skill in English and Korean
3+ year experience in relevant field is a plus
Knowledge of organic analysis (GC, LC, GPC, NMR and IR) is a plus
Understanding of mass transport phenomena is a plus
