About the role
Are you looking for an opportunity to work as an Engineer on our Civil Services Maintenance Team? Do you like a variety of work across a wide geographic area? If you are interested in the Asset management of roads, storm water and other transport infrastructure assets, apply to join Clarence Valley Council’s Civil Services team for the opportunity grow your skills in one of the most scenic, beautiful and geographically diverse areas of New South Wales.
We are seeking an applicant that is friendly, innovative and brings an energetic attitude to our Civil Maintenance team.
In this position you will be required to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of Council’s Civil Services Maintenance works from the development of forward works programs to the delivery of works through management and leadership of the maintenance team as well as liaising and negotiation with Government Agencies, members of the public and other sections of Council. Our Civil Services team have a very diverse role; we maintain approx. 2500km of road network across a large geographical area as well as bridges, storm water, footpaths, cycleways, boat ramps, and much more.
