About the Organisation
The City of Port Phillip is an inner-city council with around 1000 employees who deliver more than 100 programs and services to our residents, businesses and visitors. These range from childcare and immunisations, to libraries, management of parks and open space, rubbish collection, road maintenance and more. About the Role
Do you love leading a team of professional Transport Engineers who have a passion for road safety. Thrive on being part of the team enhancing the community’s liveability in the City of Port Philip.
As Principal Transport Engineer you will assist in the management and development of a safe and well-connected transport system to support vulnerable road users and to deliver on the targets and actions contained in the Integrated Transport Strategy (Move, Connect, Live Strategy 2018-2028).
You will need to exercise personal judgment within agreed standards to respond to service requests within agreed timelines and to encourage and support other staff to do the same.
