About the Role
Opportunity for a Civil Technician to become part of an established company in Brisbane or Perth within their Electrical drafting team. In this role your duties will include but will not be limited to:
Electrical, instrumentation and control Design work
Managing jobs through continuous consultation and communication with your team and the client
Managing the quality of your work
Produce accurate site information packages including sketches, photos, existing drawings and redlines
Key Criteria
Well-developed design and drafting skills utilising 2D and 3D software - MicroStation, AutoCAD, Microsoft Visio
Knowledge of Australian Drafting and Design Standards and codes of practices relevant to both industrial, underground mining and engineering standards.
Familiarity with the Underground mining environment and associated electrical distribution systems would be a distinct advantage for design & drafting on both green and grown field sites
An understanding of and ability to draft SCADA & PLC/DCS system control circuits
