Looking to take the next step in your career? Hatch is currently seeking an experienced Mining Engineer to provide leadership in our Mining Practice in Perth, Australia.

We support our clients through their entire project lifecycle from front-end studies to project execution, then further support them operating the assets, and developing business efficiencies. The Senior Mining Engineer is responsible for managing and leading FEL 1,2 and 3 (Concept, Prefeasibility and Feasibility) projects through a structured management process that begins with contextualizing the project, moving through set up, execution, evaluation and eventually close out.
As the successful candidate, you will:
You bring to the role:
Qualifications in a relevant mining engineering discipline (mining, mechanical etc.) combined with solid experience in cross functional leadership roles in multi-disciplinary project environments, with a strong underground experience set. You have advanced safety awareness and an ability to function well as part of, and leading, a team environment. You will bring your demonstrated commercial and business development skills in conjunction with experience in engineering, procurement and construction, and other project-related activities, their interfaces and interdependencies. You value the client with strong client focus and have a well-developed written and oral communication skills.
