About Us

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Manager Water and Sewer, the Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the delivery of Water and Waste Water projects and pro-actively manage change and risk across the project life cycle.

To be successful in this role, you should have tertiary qualifications in Engineering (preferably in Water and Wastewater), and Diploma Project Management. You should possess recent high level post graduate experience preferably in Water and Waste Water, and Project Management; highly developed communication; proven technical, financial, project management and leadership skills; and strong commercial contract management expertise.

Please note this is a temporary full time role for a 24 month term.

Key accountabilities

  • Manage identified projects using project management tools, methodologies and best practice
  • Develop and manage requirements, scope and delivery plans and budget requirements across a project life cycle
  • Negotiating and strategically influence key internal and external stakeholders to broker agreements and facilitate project outcomes
  • Coordinate project through effective business partner engagement including regular site meetings, progress reviews and monitoring
  • Investigate and develop capital works projects from forward programs in relation to provision of water, wastewater treatment and recycled water services
  • Project manage all aspects of coordinating and implementing capital works projects
