Founded in 2015 by Managing Director Wayne Edwards, around the ethos of ‘no problems, only solutions’, Libbet has worked proactively and collaboratively to successfully deliver projects throughout the North and South islands.
Our clients include local government organisations, as well as other major owners of infrastructure assets.
Libbet operates out of Auckland, servicing both the North and South Islands. We have over 40 full time employees, with access to a large group of subcontractors and suppliers that we have engaged on a variety of projects.
Libbet’s management team comprises industry leaders who work together to make the best strategic decisions so we can provide our clients with a safe, solution-focused service and provide a safe workplace for our employees.
A strong Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) culture is a key part of our business strategy. We believe that an empowered culture of health and safety amongst our staff, clients and subcontractors is what drives success. The nature of our work is high-risk; robust integrated management systems are essential to ensure our people return home safely to their families at the end of their working day. Our aim is to achieve Zero harm on all our projects.
To support this, our Integrated HSEQ Management System is ISO certified by the certification body Telarc. Our accreditation includes ISO 9001:2015 (Quality), ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental) and ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health and Safety). Libbet's key aim is to maintain our Integrated Management System to ensure we are constantly meeting the requirements of the three standards, enabling us to deliver a high quality service for our clients.
Libbet has also undergone the IMPAC Prequalification Scheme achieving a 5 star rating and is registered to ISNetworld to further meet prequalification requirements.
